In 2025, Sarathi Nepal facilitated a Consultative Workshop on Standard Operating Procedures
(SOP) for the Operationalization of Emergency Medical Logistic Warehouses (EMLW). The workshops
were held in Kathmandu on 11 December 2025 and Nepalganj on 18 December 2025. The workshop
brought together senior health authorities and technical experts from all provinces namely;
Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, to provide practical,
experience-based feedback on the draft EMLW SOP, ensuring it is practical and implementable.
The program was organized by the Health Emergency Operation Center (HEOC), Ministry of
Health and Population, with technical and financial support from WHO and the European Union, and
implemented by Sarathi Nepal. This initiative contributed to strengthening emergency medical
logistics and preparedness across Nepal.
